You might have seen people talking to themselves in an independent room. This is something common. There are even people who live with a illusionary wife or husband before their marriage, they interact to their wife and they live as if they live with someone. There are people who stand in all alone room and have an illusion as if thousands of people are applauding around him.
There are even people who have illusionary talk with their loved dead ones but soon these people come to normal life. These illusions are used by these people to fill up some gaps they needed to fill.
Unlike these ..Religion is a serious psychological disorder. It can even lead to killing, self destruction and others. Here too you live with an illusionary character in the name of God. Interestingly this disorder is socially accepted as most of the population is addicted to.

Well said! It is nothing but living with illusion and hoping for miracles.
This disorder is not abnormal and any one can tell or do anything on this name. Because this is encouraged and coded in almost all society's constitution !
